ChatPin is a browser extension that adjusts scroll position in AI chat interfaces. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any data whatsoever.

Data Collection

ChatPin collects no data. Specifically, the extension does not:

• Collect personal information
• Read or access chat messages or conversation content
• Track browsing history or visited pages
• Use cookies or any form of local storage
• Send analytics or telemetry

The extension operates entirely through client-side DOM manipulation (getBoundingClientRect, scrollTo, and CSS overrides). It does not process, log, or transmit any content from the pages it runs on.

Cookies

ChatPin does not use cookies.

Third-Party Sharing

ChatPin does not share data with any third party because no data is collected. No external servers are contacted and no third-party services or SDKs are used.

Data Retention

Since no data is collected, no data is retained.

Network Activity

ChatPin makes zero network requests. All functionality runs locally in the browser using only content scripts and CSS.

User Rights

Because no personal data is processed, there is no data to access, correct, delete, or export. You may uninstall the extension at any time through your browser's extension management page.

Permissions

ChatPin requests the following permissions:

• Content scripts on chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com, grok.com — used solely to adjust scroll position via DOM manipulation.

No other permissions are required.

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the extension's changelog.
